The only public head and neck surgery department of Super Speciality hospital in Indore, Madhya Pradesh has been designated as a tertiary care treatment centre for patients with head and neck cancer, under the National Health Mission. The department aims to become a referral centre for patients with head and neck cancer, and plans to conduct training sessions in every district for doctors and healthcare workers in screening of common head and neck cancers.
