Protests in Srinagar NIT over alleged blasphemous remarks

Protests erupted at National Institute of Technology (NIT) in Srinagar on Tuesday, triggered by allegations of blasphemous remarks made by a student from outside J&K against a particular religion. The accused student was subsequently rusticated by the NIT authorities.Police intervened to address the unrest and pacify the protesting students.
